Travel in China
All your expenses in China are covered in the comprehensive fee: food,
hotels, transportation-everything but souvenirs!
Accommodations in 3- and 4-star hotels. Our travelers have agreed the hotels
are comfortable.
Good food! Western-style buffet breakfast at most stops, Chinese
"roundtable" fare for lunch and dinner. And sometimes, a chance to dine out on
your own.
Most days start early-breakfast at 7, departure by 8. The group has the same
driver and bus for each new place we visit, so we get acquainted with these
resourceful people.
At each locale an English-speaking guide explains the sights we see. Ed
Krebs adds the perspective of a long-time observer of Chinese life.
There are, we hope, just enough opportunities as a group to get souvenirs to
satisfy everyone! And there's time to shop on your own.
Some days are long, with the evening meal as late as 7. Once or twice we
arrange such entertainment as acrobats or Chinese opera, which have an "add-on"
fee-but such occasions are minimal and worth the cost.
